Młyn Kopytowa (Kopytowa Mill) is a family business from Podkarpacie that has been milling grain continuously since 1953. Its headquarters are located in the small village of Kopytowa near Krosno – in an area considered one of the cleanest in Poland. In 2014, the mill obtained an organic production certificate, and the grain comes exclusively from nearby farms that use organic farming methods.
History and values of Kopytowa Mill
The founder of the mill, Wojciech Sajdak, began construction of the electric plant in 1953. Shortly after its launch, the mill was nationalized – it was not recovered until 1981, and in the 1990s, a thorough renovation and machine replacement were carried out. Since 1994, the company has been managed by the founder's grandson, who gradually expanded sales – first to retail customers and grocery stores, and from 2015 also online.
What sets Kopytowa Mill apart from industrial suppliers is the absence of any improvers, bleaches, and anti-caking agents in its products, as well as a short supply chain: from the Bieszczady fields, through the mill, to the consumer. Between 2018 and 2020, the plant was expanded with a warehouse and the installation of photovoltaic panels.

Who are Kopytowa Mill products for?
The offer primarily targets people who bake bread themselves – at home, with sourdough, or using a bread machine – and care about knowing the origin of the raw material. The BIO certificate and the absence of any technological additives make these flours a good choice for parents looking for verified ingredients, and the large 5 kg packages are cost-effective for regular baking. This is not supermarket flour – the difference in the taste of finished products is noticeable.
