Tyma Herbs Castor Oil

The oil is cold-pressed from the seeds of the castor bean plant ( Ricinus communis ), which helps preserve the natural nourishing properties of the raw material. It has a thick, slightly runny consistency, creates a delicate protective film on the skin, and is rich in fatty acids, including ricinoleic acid.

The product is in line with the Tyma Herbs philosophy, which bases recipes on simple, herbal ingredients and high-quality natural raw materials.

Operation and benefits

• Intensive regeneration of dry, rough and irritated skin areas (e.g. hands, elbows, heels), thanks to the softening and protective properties of castor oil.

• Nourishes cuticles and nails – regular application of oil improves their elasticity, smoothes them and helps reduce cracking.

• Supports hair, eyebrow and eyelash care – castor oil promotes better hydration, smoothes the hair surface and visually improves its density and shine.

Application in care

You can apply the oil topically to very dry areas or as an addition to your daily facial and body care routine, preferably on slightly damp skin to enhance its moisturizing effect. It also works well as a rich overnight "compress" on hands, feet, or elbows – apply a thick layer and then put on cotton gloves or socks.

In hair and scalp care, it's primarily used as a pre-shampoo mask, often mixed with a lighter oil (e.g., jojoba or almond) to facilitate spreading and rinsing. For eyebrows and eyelashes, a minimal amount of the product is recommended, applied with a clean brush, being careful not to get the oil in your eyes.
