Vilgain Sardines in organic olive oil are large pieces of Atlantic sardines processed using traditional artisanal methods by a family-owned Spanish company from the La Rioja province. The sardines are cooked, deheaded, de-tailed, and gutted, then covered with organic extra virgin olive oil. The 190 g jar is a larger version for those who regularly consume this product.
Sardines (Sardina pilchardus) are a natural source of high-quality protein and omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, which contribute to the proper functioning of the heart. The product also contains iodine, potassium, calcium, magnesium, zinc, selenium, and vitamins D, B3, and B12.
Each package contains a minimum of 70% solids. Drained net weight: approx. 133 g. May contain bones.
