Pollen, also known as bee pollen, contains an exceptionally high amount of valuable nutrients. In addition to nectar, bees also collect pollen from flowers, which is stored in the cells of the honeycomb. The pollen is then covered with honey and undergoes lactic acid fermentation, becoming bee bread, which is food for young bees.
Bee pollen contains about 200 substances, about a quarter of which are proteins. It also contains vitamins A, C, D, E, B vitamins, and other minerals, including calcium, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, sodium, iron, copper, zinc, manganese, selenium, and silicon.
It is important to remember that the positive effects of using pollen come with time, and regular consumption is necessary.
