Description

St. John's Wort Oil 100 ml - Pro Aktiv

Pro Aktiv St. John's Wort Oil is an oil macerate obtained by macerating common St. John's wort flowers (Hypericum perforatum) in olive oil. The characteristic red-orange color of the oil comes from carotenoids and phenolic compounds penetrating from the flowers during the maceration process.

Composition of St. John's Wort Oil

St. John's Wort oil contains:

  • hyperforin — a compound with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties,
  • flavonoids (including hyperoside, rutin, isoquercitrin) — support anti-inflammatory action,
  • carotenoids — responsible for the characteristic color of the oil,
  • tannins and phenolic acids — exhibit antioxidant properties.

Properties and Application

  • Wound, burn, and abrasion care — traditionally used in natural care for damaged skin; it can support its regeneration and contribute to reducing the visibility of scars.
  • Soothing irritation and skin inflammation — can support the care of irritated, dry, and sensitive skin; works well for redness and local epidermal irritations.
  • Antibacterial properties — can support the care of skin prone to imperfections and inflammation.
  • Massage for muscle and joint strain — thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties, it is readily used for massage for muscle and joint pain and after intense physical exertion.
  • Skin regeneration after cosmetic treatments — soothes redness and supports skin renewal after peeling, epilation, and other treatments requiring regeneration.
  • Scalp care — can contribute to soothing irritation and support scalp condition.

Product intended for external use only.

Ingredients

Hypericum Perforatum Extract, Olea Europaea Fruit Oil

How to use

St. John's wort oil can be applied to the skin for wounds, burns, acne, eczema, or psoriasis. It has anti-inflammatory, healing, and moisturizing properties. It can also be used as a serum under face cream or rubbed into the scalp and hair.

St. John's wort oil can be used for massaging muscles and joints in case of pain, rheumatism, or arthritis. It has antispasmodic and analgesic properties. It can also be mixed with other essential oils for better effect.

Perform the massage in a warm room. Shake the oil vigorously and drizzle it onto the skin, then spread it with a steady upward motion. When the skin absorbs the oil, drizzle it again. After the treatment, cover and allow the body to rest for about 10 minutes.

Notes

After use, do not use sunbeds or sunbathe, and in summer, do not sunbathe, as hypericin contained in St. John's wort increases the skin's sensitivity to sunlight (use in the evening).

Do not use in people allergic to the ingredients of the preparation and pregnant women.

Shake before use.

Recommended storage conditions

Store the tightly closed package in a dry and cool place, away from sunlight.
