Organic oat groats are made from hulled and broken oat grains. It is a tasty and nutritious addition to meals. It is less processed than rolled oats – it is the product most similar to whole oat grains. They are usually roasted at low temperatures, so oat groats do not lose too much nutritional value.
Oats have been a known grain for thousands of years, containing valuable nutrients. Oat groats are also rich in B vitamins and vitamin E, as well as minerals such as iron, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, and copper.
Organic oat groats are very versatile and can be used in many ways. You can prepare, for example:
- Sweet or savory oatmeal, adding fruits, nuts, honey, yogurt, cottage cheese, vegetables, cheese, eggs, or other ingredients to the cooked groats according to your own idea.
- Casserole with oat groats and vegetables or fruits.
- Patties from oat groats and minced meat or cottage cheese, seasoning the mixture with herbs and spices and frying in a pan.
- Salad with oat groats and various ingredients, such as tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, corn, onions, olives, tuna, chicken, feta cheese, or mozzarella.
- Cake with oat groats, using flour, sugar or sweetener, cocoa or chocolate, oil or butter, baking powder, and other ingredients according to the chosen recipe. You can also add fruit or jam to the cake.

Preparation method
Cook the groats in salted water in a 1:2 ratio (1 portion of groats to 2 portions of water) over low heat for about 20 minutes.

Store in a dry and cool place.
