Organic spelt groats are obtained from hulled spelt grains. They work well as an ingredient in soups, meat and vegetable dishes, but can also serve as a base for sweet meals - with dried fruits and spices. Spelt groats have many uses in a vegetarian diet.

Preparation method
Soak the groats briefly, cook in salted water in a 1:2 ratio (1 part groats to 2 parts water) over low heat for about 20 minutes.
