Description
Ceremonial Cacao Venezuela Piaroa 250 g - Chocante
Ceremonial Cacao Venezuela Piaroa is a full-fat cacao paste of the Forastero Premium (F1) variety, sourced from remote, forested regions of the Venezuelan Amazon — areas often accessible only by traditional indigenous "curiaras" boats or long unpaved roads.
Production is carried out by the indigenous Piaroa communities, who employ low-input agroforestry systems fully integrated with the rainforest. The finished beans are delivered to a collection point in Caicara del Orinoco in Bolívar state.

Flavor profile
The Forastero Premium F1 variety from this region boasts a flavor profile that far exceeds what one might expect from a Forastero type. The taste is exceptionally mild and layered — floral-fruity-honeyed, with delicate herbal-forest undertones and low bitterness. This cacao is of high finesse, prized by bean-to-bar makers as a base for subtle, elegant chocolates.
