Ceremonial cacao Nicaragua H'wany is a full-fat cacao paste of the Trinitario variety, originating from the Siuna region in the Rio Coco Biosphere Reserve (RCCN) in Nicaragua.
It is cultivated and processed by indigenous communities and the Copesiuna cooperative—one of the few organizations in Central America managing micro-lots from the experimental phase of variety selection and quality improvement.
The beans are primarily Acriollado and Trinitario hybrids centrally fermented using the tray fermentation method, which allows precise control over the fermentation process and achieves a consistent, high-quality flavor profile.

Flavor Profile
H'wany cacao is characterized by what the producer describes as a "candy journey"—the flavor profile is sweet, multi-layered, and distinctly unique, developing gradually like the finest confectionery. Complex sweet notes dominate with a clear flavor identity that sets this cacao apart from classic Central American profiles. Bitterness and acidity are subdued, making H'wany accessible even to those new to ceremonial cacao.

Preparation Instructions
Add the desired portion of cacao to water or plant-based drink at a temperature of approximately 60-80°C and blend. An example ratio is 10g of cacao per 250ml of water.
Optionally, you can supplement the drink with additions such as cinnamon, chili, or other spices.
Notes
Product contains caffeine and theobromine. Softening of the paste at higher temperatures is a natural property due to the cocoa butter content and does not affect product quality.
Recommended Storage Conditions
Store in a dry, cool place, away from heat and light sources. Once opened, keep tightly sealed.
