Organic dark chocolate with essential orange oil, with a minimum cocoa content of 55%. The citrus aroma comes exclusively from essential orange oil from organic cultivation – there is no candied peel or synthetic flavorings, so the bar maintains a smooth, uniform texture without inclusions.

The chocolate is sweetened with unrefined cane sugar, and the only aromatic addition besides orange oil is real Bourbon vanilla. The ingredients list is short and entirely plant-based – the recipe contains no dairy ingredients, making the bar suitable for vegans. This is an item from Rapunzel's winter series, available in a limited edition.

Taste and aroma

The opening is distinctly citrusy – orange oil delivers a fresh, zesty aroma that appears even before the taste of cocoa. The base remains bitter and slightly tannic, with a hint of roasted cocoa, and the orange transitions into a sweeter, jammy note in the finish. Bourbon vanilla mellows the edge of bitterness and ties both profiles together. The bar has a smooth, well-tempered texture and a distinct snap when broken.

How to use

The classic pairing is black coffee or espresso – the bitterness of cocoa and the citrus aroma complement them well. It also pairs with herbal infusions and red wine. In the kitchen, it's perfect as an ingredient in chocolate-orange desserts: mousses, tarts, ganaches, or cake glazes.
