Heather honey from the Maja apiary in West Pomerania. Made from the nectar of common heather ( Calluna vulgaris ) flowers. It ranges in color from amber to reddish-brown, crystallizes relatively quickly, and takes on a gelatinous consistency. It tastes slightly sweet, but has a beautiful aroma of heather flowers.

Heather honey has diuretic, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties. It is primarily used to treat urinary tract, kidney, and prostate conditions. It also combats bacteria and inflammation in the mouth, throat, stomach, and intestines.
