Description
Buckwheat honey 1.1 kg - Honeys of the Drawsko Lake District
Buckwheat honey from the West Pomeranian apiary Maja. It is produced by bees from the nectar of common buckwheat flowers ( Fagopyrum sagittatum ). This plant has long been known as a good honey plant. Buckwheat blooms mainly during the summer months, making buckwheat honey a classic summer honey.
Natural buckwheat honey tastes sweet, yet sharp and slightly burning. It has a strong and dark color. Buckwheat honey (like acacia honey) contains a high fructose content, which is why it crystallizes slowly.
Buckwheat honey contains nutrients typical of buckwheat flowers, including significant amounts of iron, magnesium, phosphorus, zinc, copper, boron, and iodine. It also provides vitamins C, B1, B2, and PP.
Buckwheat honey is valued primarily for its positive effects on the circulatory system. Thanks to its rutin content, it cleanses and seals blood vessels, preventing atherosclerosis and other heart and circulatory system diseases. Regular consumption of buckwheat honey increases the amount of hemoglobin in the blood.
Additionally, it cleanses and protects the liver and kidneys and supports overall immunity, helping to get rid of colds and flu.
