Himalayas

Himalaya Wellness is a global brand combining Ayurveda with modern science, offering health and beauty solutions in over 100 countries since 1930. Its portfolio includes supplements, health products, toothpastes, and botanical cosmetics, many of which have become iconic, such as Liv.52 for liver health.

About the Himalaya Wellness brand

Himalaya was founded in 1930 by M. Manal, who set out to prove the effectiveness of Ayurvedic herbs through research and evidence-based formulations. This transformed the company from a pharmaceutical into a global provider of herbal healthcare and personal care. Headquartered in Bangalore, the company distributes its products in Asia, Europe, the US, and the Middle East, building recognition as a "Happiness through Wellness" brand.

Philosophy and science

The brand's pillars are Ayurveda supported by modern science: its own R&D center and standardized plant extracts translate tradition into stable, repeatable product quality. Himalaya emphasizes a comprehensive, head-to-toe approach, providing a range of solutions for the health, care, and well-being of the entire family.

Key product categories

• Health and supplements: the portfolio includes the iconic liver supplement Liv.52 and other herbal formulas that have built the brand's medical segment.

• Oral Care: Ayurvedic toothpastes (e.g. Neem & Pomegranate, Ayurveda Gum Care) combine herbal extracts with clinically studied ingredients to offer gum protection, plaque reduction and enamel strengthening.

• Cosmetics and personal care: the range is based on plant extracts and Ayurvedic recipes, creating natural care solutions for various skin and body needs.
