Description

Buckwheat honey 400 g - Ceremuga Honey

Buckwheat honey is produced by bees from the nectar of common buckwheat flowers ( Fagopyrum sagittatum ). This plant has long been known as a good source of honey. Buckwheat flowers mainly in July and August, making buckwheat honey a classic summer honey.

Buckwheat honey tastes sweet, yet sharp and slightly stinging. It has a strong and very dark color. Like acacia honey, buckwheat honey contains a high amount of fructose, which is why it crystallizes slowly.

Buckwheat honey contains nutrients typical of buckwheat flowers, including significant amounts of iron, magnesium, phosphorus, zinc, copper, boron, and iodine. It also provides vitamins C, B1, B2, and PP.

Buckwheat honey is valued primarily for its positive effects on the circulatory system. Thanks to its rutin content, it cleanses and seals blood vessels, preventing atherosclerosis and other heart and circulatory system diseases. Regular consumption of buckwheat honey increases the amount of hemoglobin in the blood.

Additionally, buckwheat honey cleanses and protects the liver and kidneys and supports overall immunity, helping to get rid of colds and flu.
