Rest A Moment Tea 30 g - Dworzysk

The Rest a Moment herbal blend will transport you to a world of peace and harmony, providing a well-deserved moment of relaxation. It's the perfect drink to unwind in the evening and fall into a truly restorative sleep.

It contains two ingredients that have a beneficial effect on relaxation and calmness:

  • Lavender flower : has calming, relaxing, and sleep-improving properties. It also helps treat headaches, stress, and depression. The scent of lavender stimulates mental activity and relieves nervous tension.
  • Chamomile flower : has anti-inflammatory, smooth muscle relaxant, analgesic, and antibacterial properties. It helps treat symptoms of mild gastrointestinal complaints, such as bloating and mild abdominal cramps. Chamomile also relieves symptoms of colds and sore throats.

Ingredients

Lavender flower, chamomile flower

Preparation method

Infusion to drink warm

Pour boiling water (approx. 250 ml) over a level teaspoon of the dried herb and steep, covered, for 5 minutes. It also tastes delicious with lemon juice and honey.

Cold infusion

A refreshing lemonade. Pour boiling water (approx. 300 ml) over 2 tablespoons of dried herbs and steep, covered, for 15 minutes. When the infusion has cooled, strain the flowers and add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and a tablespoon of honey. Top up to 1 liter with cold water. The infusion tastes best chilled; you can add ice cubes.

Decoction for bathing

Pour cold water (approx. 1000 ml) over 8 tablespoons of the dried herb, let it steep for an hour, then bring to a boil. Pour the strained infusion into the bathtub. Bathe for 10-20 minutes at a temperature of 35-38°C. Finally, rinse your body slowly with a cold shower.

If you experience dizziness, stop bathing immediately. Warm baths are not recommended for those with heart or circulatory disorders, low blood pressure, varicose veins, or venous disease.

Other uses

Inhalations and steam baths have a healing effect on many ailments: sore throat, hoarseness, runny nose, cough, earache, and impure skin.

Preparation: Pour boiling water (approx. 250 ml) over 1 tablespoon of the dried herb. Cover and steep for 5 minutes, then strain. Fill a large container with hot water and add the herbal infusion. Place a towel over your head, lean over the container, and inhale the vapors. To avoid burns, maintain a safe distance from the container. After 10-20 minutes, remove the towel and rinse your face with lukewarm water.

Do not go outdoors immediately after inhalation. If you experience dizziness, discontinue inhalation immediately. Vapours and inhalations are not recommended for inflammatory skin conditions, eye conditions, very low blood pressure, or other circulatory disorders.

Recommended storage conditions

Store in a cool and dry place.
