Ingredients
Nettle leaf, pine buds, elderberry fruit, sage leaf, horsetail herb, red clover herb, cornflower petals, marigold petals, thyme herb
Preparation method
Infusion to drink warm
Pour boiling water (approx. 250 ml) over a teaspoon of the dried herb and steep, covered, for 5 minutes. After steeping, set aside to cool for 3-5 minutes. We recommend brewing the mixture directly in a mug, without an infuser.
Pine buds and elderberries release their aroma for a long time, and if left in the cup while drinking, they enhance the infusion's flavor. Covering the brew and stirring it after brewing causes the herbs to sink to the bottom of the cup.
Cold infusion
Pour boiling water (approx. 250 ml) over two tablespoons of the dried herb and steep, covered, for 15 minutes. When the infusion has cooled, strain the herbs and top up to a liter with cold water.
The infusion tastes best when well chilled; you can add ice cubes. It also tastes good with honey.
Cold brew
Pour 1 liter of cold water over two heaped tablespoons of the mixture and refrigerate overnight. After 10 hours, you'll have a refreshing herbal drink.
Recommended storage conditions
