Organic agave syrup is a good substitute for traditional sweeteners. It has a golden brown color and a thick consistency. Made from concentrated agave juice, it dissolves readily.
Organic agave syrup is perfect for sweetening baked goods, desserts, ice cream, waffles, pancakes, oatmeal, fruit, or beverages such as coffee and tea.
Lighter syrup is more delicate and doesn't significantly alter the flavor of the dish. Darker agave syrup, on the other hand, imparts a stronger caramel flavor and has a low glycemic index.
