Organic white quinoa, also known as quinoa or Peruvian rice, is a pseudocereal originating from South America.
Quinoa is a source of high-quality protein, valuable in a vegan diet, fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals. It provides vitamins B, E, and D, as well as zinc, magnesium, potassium, and calcium. Unsaturated fatty acids lower blood cholesterol levels, preventing atherosclerosis and other cardiovascular diseases.
Organic quinoa is an interesting substitute for traditional groats, rice, or pasta. It works well as an ingredient in soups and stews, as an addition to salads, vegetables, sauces, and even sweet desserts.

Preparation method
Pour hot water over the quinoa grains in a fine-mesh sieve and cook in a 1:2 ratio (1 portion of quinoa to 2 portions of water) for about 25 minutes. Season with salt at the end of cooking.
