Gluten-free jam pectin 24 g - Celiko

Jam pectin is a natural gelling agent obtained from apple or citrus pulp. It helps thicken and shape jams, preserves, jellies, and other fruit preserves.

Pectin has the advantage of not requiring large amounts of sugar to gelatinize, allowing for healthier, less sweet jams. It's easy to use and simply adds to the boiling fruit according to the package instructions.

Method of application

  1. Wash the fruit thoroughly and drain it in a sieve. Depending on the fruit, pit it, remove the stalks, core it, peel it, and chop larger fruits.
  2. Pour the prepared and weighed fruit into a pot. Add water, 1 packet of Celiko Pectin, and lemon juice. Stir and bring to a boil.
  3. Add sugar to the boiling fruit. Cook for at least 3 minutes, stirring to prevent the jam from burning.
  4. If necessary, skim off any foam, pour the hot jam into sterilized jars, and immediately seal them tightly. Turn the jars upside down for about 10 minutes.

Recommended storage conditions

Store in a cool and dry place.
